Elyssa Margolis & Howard Fields

We are collaborating with Elyssa Margolis and Howard Fields, University of California, San Francisco, to study specific opioid neuropeptides in the mesolimbic system. These molecules are important mediators of hedonic and motivational aspects of reward processing; however, the fundamental nature of opioid peptide neurotransmission remains ambiguous.
